Poblano Corn Chowder

Delivery Date, Monday April 14th

The Amish and Shakers are known for their corn chowder, but this recipe brings it back to the origins of corn. It was developed over 7,000 years ago in Mexico, and this chowder is full of modern Mexican flavors. Fresh roasted poblano chilies offset the sweet corn with a wonderful smokiness. It has the usual chowder components of potatoes and cream, with quite unusual seasonings. This is chowder with a kick! * Not as spicy as last time! *

Price: $10/quart

Ingredients: corn, poblano chili, potato, onion, cilantro, half and half, butter, veg. broth, spices
